We later spent one week in a forest in Chabtine, where we improvised and built a new prototype on site under the professor’s guidance. It was different from the design we had developed for the competition and was created entirely from locally available materials such as bamboo, wood, stones, and leaves.
When we returned home, we built a model showcasing the site, the unit we constructed, and the nearby river, using natural and locally inspired materials to represent the landscape and context.
